About This Item

canuckTB.jpg

The Vancouver Canucks entered the NHL in 1970. Since then, they have been to the Stanley Cup final twice, but were not successful either time. They seem to like 10 year cycles, so hopefully this 'Nuck TB will move west quickly!

This Travel Bug is in the 2004 Great Canadian Coast 2 Coast Travel Bug Race. The race started on May 1, 2004 in Nova Scotia. Long Suffering must be placed in at least one cache in at least 10 provinces or territories in Canada. The race ends on November 30, 2004. Please pick up this TB only if you can help it on its way and will drop it at another cache quickly. The GCC2C Race rules page is at: http://members.shaw.ca/jcoutu1/rules.html.

Well, Long Suffering finally made it home thanks to 911turbos!😎 Eight provinces travelled, seven within the first seven months.....5442 miles travelled and now I finally get to place my hands on one of the TBs I put out there in geocachingland. We'll put this one on the shelf at home with all the other geo treasures and who knows, maybe it'll hit the road again.

Thanks to all who helped Long Suffering in all it's travels!😁

If a future visiting cacher will be going to the BCGA Novice Night on August 20th or will be able to grab the travel bug "Long Suffering", I would love to get my hands on it as I haven't seen it since the beginning of the Great Canadian Coast 2 Coast TB Race in Spring 2004. Please send a message if you grab it and are able to go to the event or get it closer East to Chilliwack.

Thanks,
DocMagoo

We picked up the Long Suffering TB from Et Tu Brutis on Friday afternoon. We noticed where he needs to go and will place him in a local TB Lodge to get him on his way over the weekend.
