Current Goal

I'm an old seaman from Maine and I want to travel across this great country to the Pacific Ocean and back to Maine, but I would like to visit many sites in between and have me picture taken like in the one I have here taken in Bucksport Harbor across from Fort Knox in Bucksport, Maine. I don't mind the sea matey, but I don't much care to leave the ground, so keep me feet planted on solid ground or the deck of a ship. When I reach the Pacific, would you take me picture and post it here laddie, so that I might remember our good times together? Thanks shipmates for all your help in my quest. After laying over near the Pacific, move me in the direction of the Gulf of Mexico where I would like to have me picture taken. Thanks matey.

Boy! I've been on the trail a long time! California is way to hot and crazy! Especially here in Chico with the 100 degree temps and the crazy college kids out for summer break! I was so relieved to be found by a bunch of angels, Twin angel and her kids, to be precise! Boy it sure feels good to be out of that hot plastic bag with sand in my eyes and nose! 😉 They took me home to "Cowtown", I hope they don't expect me to sit on one for a picture!🤕 Anyway, they are off to the Great Lakes next week, I hope they take me, even though it will be a long ride, especially next to their big dog, who likes to lick me! 😛

Hi Parmachenee,
Met a fellow TB today and we decided to go out for a bite to eat. Buzz Lightyear hopes to travel to as many caches and rack up as many miles as he can. We spent the evening telling tall tales about our adventures and shared stories of our hosts along the way. Right now I am in the hands of a retired teacher and retired state worker. They're nice enough people, but I'm itching to get back to the sea. I'll probably be heading out before the week is out since I can't get a decent fish meal around here. See you when I get there.

Don't you hear the caps'n pawlin'
Don't you hear the pilot bawlin'

Only one more day a-howlin'
Can't you hear the gals a-callin'

Oh, have you heard the news, me Johnny
We're homeward bound tomorrow!

Ahoy there mateys! Now that I've done sailed the Pacific blue, walked the beaches of Maui and watched the sun set beneath the Golden Gate bridge, I find me thoughts turnin' to me captain's quarters and the tall tales of wild storms on the Atlantic and warm meals of freshly captured lobster. I'd be mighty obliged if you could move me along that way.

But you know, for all me travlin' I never did see a true and proper desert, wit its sea of sands an' its burrowin' critters...
