Het ontwerp van de Dutch Rider Geocoin is gemaakt naar een Nederlandse munt uit 1754 die "Rijder" werd genoemd. Deze munt was er in zilver en goud. De voorkant is een exacte kopie van de Nederlandse munt
De latijnse zin ‘Mo No Arg Con Foe Belg Pro Hol’ op de voorkant betekent: Nieuwe zilveren munt van de Belgische Federatie (alias de Republiek van de zeven provinciën), provincie Holland.
Het plaatje van een leeuw in 3D  op de achterkant werd ook op diverse Nederlandse munten gebruikt.
De zin ‘Concordia Res Parvae Crescunt’ op de achterkant betekent:: Door eenheid groeien de kleineren.
