About This Item

Where is Osama?

Once upon a time...
... there was a war in Afghanistan. A war to kick the medieval, religious Taliban regime off the country. And in particular, to get it back to Osama bin Laden. Who, according to the U.S. government, organized the airplane attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11,2001.
Unfortunately, Osama bin Laden seemes to have escaped.

Where is Saddam?

Once upon a time...
... there was a war in Iraq. Actually, two wars. The first one to kick Iraq out of Kuweit. The second one, to free Iraq from Saddam Hussein's regime and remove the potential of terrorists using Iraq's mass destruction weapons.
Unfortunately, Saddam escaped.

Find the bugs!

While the western world's prime investigators and fine agencies are looking for the two guys, you can hunt them for yourself using a GPS receiver.

Yes, this is about Geocaching - a global treasure hunt game based upon GPS positioning. To find out about Geocaching, you can consult these fine pages:

  • The pages of Geocaching.com.
  • The pages of Navicache.com.
  • The Game: Hunt the bugs

In Geocaching, you can chase so-called travel bugs. So they're a perfect toy for chasing Osama and Saddam! This game includes four travel bugs - George Bush, Tony Blair, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein - and tens of thousands of global geocaches, where they can hide!
Read all about travel bugs at Geocaching.com!
Goal of the game is to grab a pair of good & evil in the hands of the same owner. Whover gets a hold of George and Saddam, or Tony and Osama, or vice versa, being the first, wins the prize.
To make it harder, George and Tony will be released in the United States, while the bad guys get loose in - you guess it - Old Europe. So the travel bugs do have to travel before anyone can win.
Oh, and to make this a longer-lasting fun game, none of the four bugs can be possesed for more than a week by the same person, of he/she will not be recognized as the winner.
