Gilbert used to work in a hotel as a receptionist. He was frustrated for never being promoted to general manager, or at least to front office manager. This made him bitter and he was generally very rude to the guests, people were afraid of him. The older he got, the ruder and more wicked he became. He gave small rooms with narrow beds to big, fat people, made old people climb up to the highest floor saying that the elevator did not work, gave rooms to noisy families next to couples who requested privacy, misdialed wake-up calls, misplaced keys, gave wrong information, even used foul language when he thought that no one could hear him. However, one day an elderly lady, a guest from the highest floor, heard him swear and she got so upset that she cursed him never to find rest, and be confined to a hotel where he needs to be friendly and polite to everyone. So this is why, after his death, Gilbert ended up living in the famous Pécs TB Hotel. Now he is cheerful and courteous and is very happy to be discovered and to get company.
