Lost in transit on the way to South Africa. Hopefully it will turn up again one day soon, but it is no longer in my hands.

I sometimes wonder whether I am slightly insane enjoying geocaching as much as I do and today was one of those days. What was I thinking going hunting on unknown ground in a skirt....ok it was hot, but why didn't I take into consideration that the previous logs included the word "swamp"? And then there was another log that mentioned an electric fence...both were very true!

After risking being attacked by ticks in the long grass, avoiding the numerous amounts of cow dung, crawling under the electric fence and manoveuring myself through the swamp - all of which was done in a t-shirt and knee-length skirt with bare legs - I found the cache almost exactly where my GPS told me it should be. But then came the mosquitoes by the dozen, so I very quickly logged my find so that I could try and find my way back to the car again, alive! Four huge mosquito bites later, I have yet to be combed for ticks, but I am very happy, I did after all get the TB!

Sitting duck will be dropped off in a short while a long way away from Sweden....

I moved travel bug to a cache near the Dalkarlskärret http://www.dalkarlskarret.se
The swamp is a popular spot for ornithologists and other whildlife interested people. Hopefully, they are also interested in Geocaching!
