NOW MARK  THREE.... IS HE CURSED?

Mumford wants to travel to caches everywhere as he searches for his Mummy! A cute little chap, Mumford is happy to go anywhere and looks forwards to meeting lots of geocachers and their maternal relatives! Please take photos of Mumford on his adventures.

About This Item

Mumford mk-3

This is a re-launched trackable.
The original Mumford was an aluminium Cache Buddy trackable tag of a quirky little Mummy with his identification number etched onto his back. The first cache he was placed in was obviously cursed and he vanished . . . .
The new and improved Mumford is a small voodoo doll attached to a copy tag with his trackable number on so cachers who find him can still get the Mummy icon on their stats. Mumford carries with him a small keyring that gives details of his mission to any cachers who don't have instant internet access out in the woods!

WARNING: Mumford is pretty patient, but if you leave him in your backpack or your pocket for more than a couple of weeks he is likely to use the 'Mummy's Curse' to remind you he is there! To save yourself from this fate, please move him along within 2 weeks. Thanks!

Discovered It 10/26/2012 Wibsey Wench discovered it   Visit Log

Can a Wench discover a TB twice? Well helped with the relaunch so I will give it a go.
Hope this trackable relaunch has better luck, if not you can always jump out of the cache box and scare people... sounds a great thing to do...
Stay safe on your adventures new, WW x

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 10/21/2012 badgerbaby grabbed it   Visit Log

Grabbing virtually since it has been virtually missing for months and months. Will re-launch a new copy tag soon.

The owner has set this Trackable as missing.

Just doing a little TB caretaking and checking only to discover the CO marked the cache as missing in July and didn't have the decency to let me know that obviously my brand new trackable had also gone. Feeling very sad and a bit cross. 😟

Dropped Off 4/22/2012 badgerbaby placed it in Codebreaker - The Key Southern England, United Kingdom - 19.61 miles  Visit Log

GCHQ and a Mummy. . . . . put me in mind of the Divine Comedy song Mother Dear . . . .
'If I ever get arrested by the C.I.A. Because they take me for a foreign spy
They won't need no lie-detector, all they'll have to do Is make me look into my mother's eyes'
and so this seemed a good place for Mumford to begin his exciting life as a trackable. Happy Travels. x

Discovered It 4/15/2012 Wibsey Wench discovered it   Visit Log

Met this fine bandaged fellow, so glad it was in the day time... wouldn't like to meet him on a spooky dark night...... oooooo..... Be good and stay away from silly cachers xx

Visited 4/14/2012 badgerbaby took it to Bring out your dead! West Midlands, United Kingdom   Visit Log

Called by a newly opened cache that's between my 'pad' and my Mummy's house. Not large enough to hold a cool customer like me though! You can't keep me under wraps - ha ha ha! 😉x
