To share with everyone around the globe the excitment and stories that I experienced at my first MEGA event.
This coin is to commemorate Cacheapalooza 6 (GC30EFZ) going MEGA!
It was my first MEGA event and I was super excited to be able to share such a great accomplishment with all of my geocaching friends.
The event takes place yearly at Jonathan Dickenson State Park, just South of Stuart, Florida. It is a great park with wonderful camping amenities.
The event is put on by a group of geocachers from the area who work for months in advance to place caches, create puzzles, set up events, and plan out a great event for all who attend. It is a huge undertaking that they accomplish each and every year with smiles on their faces.
CP6 was my second Cacheapalooza and I was very excited when it became official...we went MEGA!
