I took Alex and Kowalski to the Oklahoma City National Memorial. This is where the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was Bombed on April 19, 1995 at 9:02 AM. I brought my 2 kids with me and explained to them what the memorial was for and what it represents to all the victims, their families, the rescue crews and the greater community. It is a beautiful space, it's quite moving. I was in 7th grade when the bombing happened. I remember it very very clearly.
