Been here!

It’s the morning. The morning. Our lives are about to change, and for the next two years we will be living on the other side of the world, where there unfortunately aren’t many geocaches. And so with you (and another TB), this is the last place to leave any bug; we bring you with us after a short drive to the airport, where we leave you in one of the three caches we haven’t yet visited around the airport. As we headed to the terminal, I meticulously planned this little stop in an area where no stopping is ever possible. I got out the car and ran to GZ, where I instantly found the stash, opened it up, and saw that there is just enough space here for the two TBs. And so our journeys here part, It’s been a blast visiting many new places with you, and this seems like a great place to say goodbye! I decided that after a long journey from the US; we’ve traveled with you along the entire east coast and it might be time to say goodbye. We are really happy we have met you and visited so many wonderful caches, and brought you to the other side of the big pond. Perhaps its now time we say goodbye; you can meet new geocachers along your travels and visit many new places in Europe and around the Czech Republic; we’re off to Asia in two hours. Before dropping you in this stash, I attached a custom laminated label onto you, to help you travel along. Here, you’ll meet many new people and hopefully travel along for a long time and visit many new countries and places! We wish you safe travels and hope you’ve had a great time with us!

It’s the morning before we drive off. Sigh. We’re off to Asia in a few hours to start our new lives. It seems like I don’t know what we’re doing, who knows what’s to come. I have a strong feeling that with our departure, geocaching dies for us. But I try to take this positively, and this morning early on, before we leave, we have one final mission, drop off the bugs we’re traveling with so they’re not in an abyss with us in Myanmar where there are no geocaches. And so we stopped at this stash, unfortunately too tiny to drop a bug in.

Again and again, I keep repeating myself. We’re counting down the time till we fly off to our new lives, and it’s only hours till we fly to Asia. I stopped by this stash, but since it is a ‘nano’ container, I once again ran out of luck in dropping you. Damn. Well, I have to admit that I’m happy to visit this cache with you! Nice to see the little waterfalls!

This is today’s only find, which is a little strange, I have to admit. We’re flying off in only two days, so we’re literally counting hours…. This morning I had my massage; my last massage, and as I was driving from there to another errand before we leave, I stopped by this one single cache which was a quick park & grab. This is a tiny tiny cache, so I was a little bummed I couldn’t leave you here, as our time together is getting shorter. Well, glad we visited this one today!
