EDIT: Let's keep the Central Baltic float moving around as a new programme has started for 2014-2020!
***
With the Central Baltic float we are fishing for good cooperation between public institutions in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Sweden and on the Åland Islands. This is what 96 million euros of public support from the EU is used for between 2007 and 2013 – in all relevant fields ranging from environment to business, tourism to culture.
The float has started its journey through the Central Baltic region in December 2012 in Turku in Southwest Finland, where the main office of this funding programme is located. The aim of the Central Baltic float is to visit each of the countries benefiting from this EU funding programme at least once – before it returns to Turku before the end of 2013. The float symbolizes the ideas and cooperation taking place in the funded cross-border projects.
If you got hooked and are now interested to hear more about how you personally can benefit from cross-border cooperation between Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Åland, you are most welcome to visit the Central Baltic website at www.centralbaltic.eu. In any case, thank you for helping the Central Baltic float travelling from Turku through Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Åland (in which order ever, also back and forth) back to Turku before 31.12.2013 – spreading the message of cross-border cooperation.
