Current Goal

I would like to visit local small breweries and other facilities (juice stations etc.) in which delicious drinks are being made. It would be nice if you take a photo of me in these places.

Took this picture at the local brewery The Second Wedge.

Decided on this cache as it was the first I found after getting back into geocaching after a long hiatus. The guy who first introduced me to geocaching died, which got me thinking of this again. In memory of Adam Wood.

Our son came up from St. Joseph, Michigan for a weekend visit. One of his favorite pastimes is visiting breweries! How could we resist? We went to the Cedar Springs Brewery, Rockford Brewing Company (previously sent), and Founders in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We happened to visit during their 13th Annual Harvest Celebration! The place was packed and the beer was flowing! We grabbed this shot for your travels. I like the Hop plants and Fall decorations in the shot this time as well. We've hit all the major breweries, so I guess it's time for Der Krug to move on. As soon as I can find a place for it. Thanks for letting him visit for an extended stay. Hope you like the photos.

There was an event held last night at the newest of Grand Rapids, Michigan many breweries. I'm still trying to make the rounds of all of them, and then get your TB on it's way to a new site. This one was called the Creston Brewery on the North side of town. 12-16 selections of some very good craft brew. The event had 18-20 local cachers, and a good time was had by all.

Finally getting to a couple more logs. This time we took a trip to Traverse City Michigan. Not the brew city that Grand Rapids is, but we managed to find ourselves at a nice, unique tavern none-the-less. A new picture for your enjoyment.
