This double decker bus would love to just travel and follow all bus routes and keep within the speed limits too!!!
A simple mission for a shiny Cottrells bus. It represents many happy hours I have spent on buses.
As a non-driver, I have always relied on public transport, and I adore double deckers!
Please keep this trackable bus on the move.
Photos of it's adventures and perhaps other buses would be fantastic, enjoy!
If taken to events, please ensure it is logged both in and out, as I have had several bugs go to meets and simply vanish, thanks.
This is a relaunch, as the first bus went missing along with the whole cache in Cheltenham!!! Why do people do this? A question a Wench is unable to answer.....
This relaunch is a former red bus, which has had a 'paint job'! Not a very good paint job... I hope the claret and cream colour of Cottrells hold up!
The 24 went from Ruardean to Gloucester every hour and even in dire weather conditions seemed to get through! Happy days....
We now have Stagecoach and I can say honestly their service is very welcome, but not as reliable as Cottrells!
When I came to Mitcheldean I was so happy to see the colour of the bus, it reminded me of the Liverpool city buses back in the 60's, ahhh memories...
The bendy buses in York city centre are amazing and I just loved them, but Cottrells will always be close to my heart, we miss them! They were a family run firm.
This trackable measures 7.5 cms long and is a proud 3.5 cms. tall.
Attached to the bus and dog tag is a small keyring giving a brief explanation of the simple mission.
Good luck again... thanks.
