My mission is to visit and have my picture taken at St. Barths Juliana Airport in the Caribean. While traveling to the beautiful islands, I would love to visit as many airports worldwide. Please take my picture at whichever airport is near you, big or small!
The TB name is associated with my series of hidden geocaches at many different airports across the southeast US, the "Cleared To Land" series. If your in the area, look them up and grab them!
As my username implies, I am a pilot. It is only fitting that I start a travel bug that is in some way related to aviation. I picked up this Delta Airbus A320 model plane at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson Int'l Airport while traveling and thought it would make a great TB. Please take this travelbug and photograph it at as many airports as possible while traveling to the islands. Juliana Airport in St. Barths is one of the most extreme airports in the world due to its incredibly short runway and its unusual placement between the hills at one end of the runway and the beach at the other end. You can YouTube St. Barts airport and watch some of the incredible videos of small planes landing.
Like any airplane, I don't like to sit. I prefer to be moving fast. Please do not keep me for long periods of time and move me along so I can have a great chance of fulfilling my incredible goal!
