This travel bug belongs to the Cub Scouts of Oxford, GA Pack 211. The Cubs have been learning about geocaching, GPS units and compasses, and are very excited to release their travel bug into the world!
We will be using maps to track the progress of the travel bug, and in the process teaching the boys about map reading skills and measuring distance, and about their state, country and (we hope!) other countries.
So the mission of this travel bug is to travel far and wide, and see as much of the world as possible for the Cubs.
