Bitte hilf dabei, sie in GC1DR1G  "A Triumph Of Engineering" zu platzieren.

Vielen Dank!

Please bring this original and more than 40 years old Triumph Patent Plate back to the place where it was assembled to one of the legendary Triumph Motorcycles in the old but meanwhile destroyed Triumph plant in Meriden, West Midlands, United Kingdom. Pleasehelp to place it to GC1DR1G  "A Triumph Of Engineering"

If the item arrives there I bed the cache owner to bring this my beloved patent plate and hand it out to the National Motorcycle Museum Birmingham

Thank you very much!

About This Item

Triumph Patent Plate

This patent plate was one of the characteristic signs or the great motorcycle producer Triumph Motorcycles from Coventry, After the bombs destroyed the original factory there grew a new plant in Meriden, in which a T100 was built. From this T100 I removed the patent plate in 1999 to replace it with a NOS part when I restored this motorcycle´.
This motorcycles was delivered to South Africa in 1969 and came to Germany in 1992,
In the meantime this old Triumph visited the place where the Triumph pland stood one time.

I had intended to take this travel bug last Friday to Coventry Transport Museum, but we arrived just a little bit too late. So this week we (my lovely gf Walk on the Wildside and I) arrived in plenty of time to have a stroll around and take lots of photos.

The main aim was to have a photo (or two) of the TB with the Triumph T100 that travelled around the world back in 1974. But we soon saw that there were quite a few more Triumphs at the museum... some of them even having FOUR wheels!

Plus we spotted a couple of other vehicles that we thought you might like to see your TB with.

Apologies for the poor quality of a couple of the photos... some of the bikes (and information plates) were on a turntable, and I had to move with it to get a clear shot!

Each photo of a vehicle is followed by a photo of the information sheet. Except with the T100, where we took LOADS!
