Hallo ich heisse Barbakus und mein Frauchen hat mich zur Weltreise losgeschickt.
Sie reist auch sehr gerne, aber ab und an muss Sie ja doch Arbeiten.
Deswegen hab ich jetzt die Aufgabe die Welt zu bereisen.
Bitte helft mir dabei.
Mein Frauchen würde sich auch bestimmt über ein paar tolle Bilder meiner Aufenthaltsorte freuen.

Barbakus visited my brother's wedding in Rokua, Utajärvi. A true nature lover's paradise, totally worth checking out. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go caching or photographing there, so Utajärvi Railway Station will have to do.

Barbakus visited another bachelor party in Oulu. This time an old friend of mine was the party boy. There used to be an old steam engine (Lokomo 137) in Oulu Railway Station as well but it's currently under restoration.

Barbakus visited the Arctic Circle, where I went to celebrate my brother's bachelor party. The journey continued North from here, but this was as far as the railroad tracks took us. We continued to Levi, which might very well be the Northest this TB ever goes. Too bad I didn't have time to go geocaching there...

  • Train kept a rollin' The train continued Northeast to Kemijärvi, but we followed a different bearing - straight North!
  • Barbakus Steamin' North Apparently the speed of this old steamer wasn't enough for Barbakus, so we jumped into a bus towards Levi.

Found big raspberry bushes near the cache. Barbakus is a really cool guy. He allowed me to borrow his sleeping bag to pick up the berries. I promised to wash it before returning it to him, naturally. What a sweet geocaching surprise!

Rajasalmi Bridge connects Pirkkala to Nokia and is part of motorway E12 around Tampere.
