Hi,
My name is Smokey The Bear and my mission is to travel to as many Wild Life Management Areas and public foreste as possible. 

I want to vist these beautiful places to make sure that everyone is obeying all the rules to help prevent forest fires. I hope everyone can get to enjoy these wonderful places as much as I do.

Just had to pick up Smokey Bear today and will find him a new home. My dad buried the real bear in Capitan in 1976 at what is now Smokey Bear Historical Park and along with the mayor selected a big rock for his headstone from the nearby mountains where Smokey was found with his singed paws in 1950 clinging to a tree.

Looks as tho' Smokey the Bear has finally made it to New Mexico, the home of the real Smokey the Bear, in Capitan, NM. Will post pics of some wild areas in NM, so the TB feels at home.
