The Bengal Tiger Race is on!

This is Kyra the orange bengal tiger. She is in a race with her cousin Kayla the white bengal tiger. They started their journey together in a great travel bug hotel in Panama City Beach, FL in November 2012. They are racing to see which one of them can visit all 50 states in the United States first! Kyra thinks she is prettier and smarter than her cousin but she needs your help to travel faster than Kayla. Please help her win the race! She also likes to brag about the cool places she visits by posting pictures of herself on her personal webpage. She is kinda cute, but is she the fastest?

Bengal Tiger Facts!

Bengal tigers live in India and are the most common of all wild tigers.

Tigers are the largest members of the cat family and are renowned for their power and strength.

The Bengal tiger can weigh up to 500 pounds for a male and about 400 pounds for a female.

Tigers use their distinctive coats as camouflage (no two have exactly the same stripes).

Tigers are excellent swimmers. They enjoy lying in rivers, lakes and ponds and have been known to hunt and kill in the water.

A hungry tiger can eat as much as 60 pounds in one night, though they usually eat less.

Their habitat is varied: grasslands, subtropical and tropical rainforests, deciduous forests and mangroves.
