Crosses on Moss

Attached to my travel bug dog tag is a prayer box and a bracelet...both were given to me that I now want to share with the world of geocachers. My friend Annie gave me the prayer box many years ago... I am not sure about the origin of prayer boxes. There has been debate over whether the prayer box originated in the Buddhist or Hindu faith, but these prized religious objects are treasured today by many faiths, and even by nonreligious individuals. Originally worn as a religious ritual object, prayer boxes are now used primarily as jewelry and worn for sentimental, not religious, purposes.

 

The second item is a bracelet that was given to me on my walk to Emmaus. It has 5 crosses attached to it. During the travel bug's journey, I would love to see additional items attached to the bracelet.

This travel bug like prayer boxes come in many shapes and styles, sizes, and materials but they all have something in common... Each travel bug has a piece of geocacher's life and personality.

So please take pictures and add items to the bracelet if you like during "Crosses" journey.
