South Carolina/Georgia Rare Pediatric Cancer and Histiocytosis Race.

Please help me earn extra points by:

Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare cancer, affecting 5 out of every 1 million children. LCH causes damage to tissues throughout the body. Radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery are required to keep LCH at bay. Early recognition is the only way to slow the progression of the disease. Since the cause is unknown, prevention is impossible. Research into this disease is needed, but is not funded due to its rarity.
