This travelbug is dedicated to all who suffer from this disease and their families and friends. 

I suffer from this disorder since my 18. There were very hard times which I and my family had to face to. I would like to thank them for their support. I would like to try to show people, that we are not weak, selfish or weird people. You will never fully understand what about is this disorder, but try to respect it and people who suffer from this disorder or any other mental disorder.

Trpím touto nemocí od svých 18. Za tu dobu jsem spolu se svými blízkými prožil  těžké  chvíle. Chtěl bych jim poděkovat  za jejich podporu. Chtěl bych ostatním ukázat, že lidé trpící touto a i jinou mentální poruchou, nejsou slaboši, sobečtí nebo divní lidé. Nikdy úplně neporozumíte, co tato nemoc přináší, ale snažte se to respektovat.

Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is a mental disorder that causes periods of depression and periods of elevated mood. The elevated mood is significant and is known as mania or hypomania, depending on its severity, or whether symptoms of psychosis are present. During mania, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy, or irritable.
Individuals often make poorly thought out decisions with little regard to the consequences. The need for sleep is usually reduced during manic phases. Bipolární porucha (BAP), známá také jako maniakální deprese (MD) nebo pod starším označením maniodepresivní psychóza (MDP), maniodeprese (MD) je závažná duševní porucha, při níž se střídá stav mánie a deprese.
