UPDATE ON MARK’S RACE AROUND THE WORLD TRAVEL BUG 

** Mark passed away peacefully in my arms at 12.12 am on Saturday 17th March 2018.

His hard fought battle with metastatic bowel cancer is over and he is now at peace.

I placed his “Race around the world”  travelbug in his shirt pocket.

It went with him on his final journey.  

Goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend, you have been the one for me.

Love you my Mark until eternity and beyond  your Jenny xx **

Jenny's race around the world and Mark's race around the world were released at the same time and place to see who can log the most miles racing around the world.

UPDATE INFORMATION ~ 11.01.14

 Jenny and Mark were lucky enough to travel around the world in 2013 on holiday.

While in England we saw that Jenny's race around the world travel bug had been placed in a cache not far from where we were traveling. We hurried off to the cache and there it was. What are the chances of releasing a TB in Bali and picking it up a year later in England?

Jenny's race around the world then traveled with us around England, Wales, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore eventually arriving back in Australia in October 2013.

On 11.01.14 it was set free to travel the world again. Please add as many miles as you can to it for me.

What a story! The second one today that is quite sad.

Well, I am the taxi driver for the moment. I could have the opportunity to send Jenny through a portal down to Victoria, which is not really helpfull?

But I will be at an Event in about a months time. Maybe someone else can help further. Until then, I will take the TB with me. And with it, Mark as well. Lost my Dad too...
