Current Goal

Mission 1: To travel aimlessly from cache to cache and help geocachers enjoy tasty bottled beverages along the way.  Submit a photo of fellow geocachers opening a refreshing beverage with this opener. Bottoms up!
or
Mission 2: To travel aimelessly from cache to cache and help secretly capture photos of fellow geocachers bent over ravaging for caches.  Submit a photo of a fellow Geocacher, BOTTOMS UP!

Note: Try to place TB in a place less traveled by the general public.  I would like this one to last a while.

About This Item

Bottoms Up enjoying a beverage

Pick one or both missions to complete.  Either will bring forth some entertaining photographs.  This TB idea started when one of my fellow geocachers (Redhot82) thought it would be funny to snap photos of her man and I bent over looking for a cache one day.  The picture was posted on Facebook later...Game On!  From there we have expounded on the idea and have blackmailed each other by secretly capturing pictures of our backsides when we least expect it (only while geocaching truce). We have gotten some good laughs from it all.  If you would like to join the fun submit some pictures and/or take a look at some in the gallery.

As for the TB itself, I was trying to find a TB that related to the embarrassing trickery stated above and I found this old bottle opener at my local antique shop in Marquette, IA.  Hence Mission 1 for those who would rather not capture a picture of someone else's rear end.  The bottle opener is marked with the old Potosi Brewing Co. label from Potosi, WI.  Information on this Brewery can be found on this web page: http://www.potosibrewery.com/ . It is still making its own brew and is a really neat place to visit if your an old brewery history connoisseur.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 4/1/2014 maephly grabbed it   Visit Log

Well Bottoms Up has been missing since it was picked up by lfarmer54.23 in the first cache that I placed it in (Richmond Springs) way back in 06/02/12. My awesome friends (Red1982) found another vintage Potosi Brewery Bottle Opener and will it to me to bring my missing trackable back to life. I hope that it makes it a little further than last time!!!
