AMBER ALERT: No, this is not an abduction of a child, You should, however, be on the lookout for this light weight little yellow "stone" which is possibly millions of years old. Amber is fossilized tree resin (not the sap), which has been appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Amber has been used as an ingredient in perfumes, as a healing agent in folk medicine, and as jewelry.
This little "gem" would like to "see" the world, or at least the USA, state by state. IF POSSIBLE, move "Amber Alert" from one state to another. I wish to pre-thank those who move this TB along and have fun geocaching throughout the USA.
This is a rather large piece of Amber, though very light, it is a bit smaller than the TB tag, to which it is attached. AMBER is actually fossilized tree resin (not the sap). I have uploaded a picture.
