So after clearing out my inventory of travelers over a number of events and then dropping everything I had in Gerbil Cache last month I found that this guy was still in my electronic inventory. So I have been trying to track down who it was that had taken it as I am pretty sure that it was picked up at one of the events at the end of October or the beginning of November when I got back from the Going Caching mega in Georgia USA.
I remember someone picking it up at one of the events at that time because they asked about the tracking code... when I received it back in August it was no longer a cowboy with the TB ball attached it was a wooden disk with a hole in the center and the code "stamped" around it but somewhat hard to read. Whoever it was that picked it up had trouble but I told them if they couldn't get it to ping me because the code was on my inventory list and I could help them out.. well I never got a note from them but they never electronicaly grabbed it but at the time I had a bag full of trackables because of all the traveling I was doing and I had gotten the notifications that the other trackables that had been taken at those events had been pulled from my inventory so I never did a sitdown and compair... well that brings me to the Gerbil Cache where I dropped everything in my inventory and wrote down the codes of what I dropped so I could electronic drop them and ended up with this one still around virtually.
So I leave it to the owner to decide what they would like to do. I am pretty sure I have some of the TB Proxy tags around that I could "restart" the trackable with on one of those. While it wouldn't be the original it would be as good or better than the wooden disk that I ended up with. Or feel free to grab the TB, mark it as missing, or whatever would be best.
If you would like me to do something please let me know.
