...1949 durch Hermann Gmeiner gegründet gibt es (Stand 2016) 675 Kinderdörfer sowie unzählige kleine Institutionen, familiäre Jugendeinrichtungen, Kindergärten, Schulen und Ausbildungstätten, sowie soziale Zentren und Familienhilfestellen, medizinische Einrichtungen und Notfallprogramme, in denen dafür gesorgt wird, Kindern und Jugendlichen, die aus den unterschiedlichsten Gründen nicht im eigenen familiären Umfeld aufwachsen können, ein Zuhause und soziale Kontakte zu bieten. Ein Betrag von 40 DKK ging vom Verkauf dieser Coin seinerzeit zu den dänischen SOS Kinderdörfern. Ein tolles weltweites Projekt, das sehr viel Anerkennung verdient! Wir sind stolz, diese Coin ebenfalls in unserer Sammlung zu haben!

...founded in 1949 by Hermann Gmeiner and (as of 2016) there are 675 children's villages as well as innumerable small institutions, family youth facilities, kindergartens, schools and training facilities, as well as social centers and family support centers, medical facilities and emergency programs that provide care to children and adolescents, that, for a variety of reasons, can not grow up in their own family environment to provide a home and social contacts. Duiuring release of this coin an amount of 40 DKK went to the Danish SOS Children's Villages. A great worldwide project that deserves a lot of recognition! We are proud also having this coin in our collection!

Eine neue Geo-Coin in der Sammlung des Owners ist diese SOS Kinderdorf Geo-Coin. Auch ich spende regelmäßig für diese Organisation, die sich um das Wohl der Kinder kümmert. Vielen Dank für's discovern.
