Still can not get this back to Germany, but I did add some photos of the coin from my trip to Daytona International Speedway. enjoy.

  • Porsche! This is one of the many German manufactured racing cars at Daytona this weekend for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.
this is the Falken Tires Porsche 911.
  • BMW M3 This car is driven by two German drivers. Since this coin may be homesick for Germany, I grabbed a photo with the nations flag. For an American race, this car is loaded with racing talent. This car should be very well this weekend.
  • Porsche 911 here is another of the fine German made race cars. This is a 911, and the race car number is 911. Awesome.
  • Marc Lieb One of the many German drivers at Daytona this weekend.
  • Weather Tech 911 This is one of my favorite 911's. This car should run very well this weekend.
  • Bond! James Bond! Had to throw in an Aston-Martin. Not German made, but still an awesome car. Love the car number....007!
  • American horsepower This is a Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype. One of the best cars at the track this year. And, the sponsor is Visit Florida. Since this coin made it here, I had to add this shot.
  • Daytona Speedway This is a shot of the haulers that bring the racecars to the track. You can see a portion of the grandstands in the background.
  • Daytona Speedway This is a shot of the front stretch and start/finish line at the speedway.
  • Garage area This is a shot of the garage area where the cars are worked on. It was taken from on top of a fan deck that runs the length of the garage area.

Carried this coin to Daytona Speedway today. I added a photo of the tunnel leading into the speedway. I'll post some additional shots later this weekend.

  • The tunnel under Turn 4 at Daytona This is the entrance and exit of choice for this coin. I'll post a couple of other photos later this weekend.
