We would like this coin to travel around the world, visiting as many countries as possible and meeting different members of the Scout Association, before returning to Chipping Sodbury.
This geocoin has been put into circulation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1st Chipping Sodbury Scout Group. The group initially met at Ridge House, close to the geocache where it will be left, but has now moved to a purpose built head-quarters in Chipping Sodbury. Hopefully, at the end of its travels, the coin will be returned to Chipping Sodbury, where it can be displayed in the headquarters alongside photos of the places it has been and the people it met.
The original coin disappeared shortly after starting its travels (SA424J) so this replacement is continuing the journey.
