The first time we got to see the epic character of Obi-Wan Kenobi was in STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE, where he rescued Luke Skywalker, who had been attacked by savage Tusken Raiders. The scenes were shot in Tunisia, near a place called Tatouine (which gave name to the planet Tatooine). However, Tunisia is a rather unstable area to go geocahing, at least at the moment, so I would like this travel bug to visit Death Valley in California, which is where they shot the scenes of the Tusken Raiders on their Banthas (in what is known as Bantha Canyon).
There aren't that many caches in the Death Valley area, but see where you can get this little fella....
AND PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS OF THE BUG ON ITS TRAVELS!!!!
Obi-Wan Kenobi, onetime Jedi Master and General during the Clone Wars, hid out in the Jundland Wastes on Tatooine, keeping a watchful eye over Luke Skywalker, the new hope for the Galaxy.....
