Current Goal

This travelbug became activated in honor of all Special Olympic athletes. The Young family is very involved in volunteering and fundraising for Special Olympics of Virginia. I teach special students in Roanoke City and my husband is a deputy sheriff for Roanoke County and organizes many events throughout the year to raise money for SOVA. All of us work the summer games every year, and my husband and kids run in the last leg of the Torch Run. The goal of this travel bug is to visit every city in the US that hosts their states Special Olympics Summer Games. We are starting it off the weekend of June 8 as we travel to Richmond, Va. for the 2012 Special Olympics Summer Games. Please let us know when you retrieve it and please take a picture with it or where it goes and send  with the log.
