Operation Desert Storm was a war waged from Jan. 17 - Feb 28, 1991. This war was a coalition of countries led by the USA to halt the invasion and annexation of Kuwait by the forces of Iraq. Iraq was governed at that time by Saddam Hussein. George Bush was the president of the USA.
This is a shoulder patch purchased at a gift shop in San Diego, CA, where my son and his family live.
This TB is in honor of my son who is now a retired Chief Petty Officer from the U. S. Navy and who served in Operation Desert Storm
