We have visited this GeoCache before, and two great friends of ours got married in this place. It is a cool piece of Pennsylvania though, so it seemed worth sharing with this little guy.
This is at a place now called The Fuge. It was the centrifuge used to train astronauts for the Mercury and Gemini programs. Many astronauts trained there, including Neil Armstrong, Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Buzz Aldrin, and Jim Lovell. To me, that counts as an important scientific location in Pennsylvania. It is in Warminster, PA, and it is called the Johnsville Centrifuge.
