Noben Banxarn TB will accompany Marions27 as they visit many wonderful caches during their enjoyable retirement.
This wonderful TB is a model of Noben Banxarn, Chief Engineer, of the HinderwellPixieClan. It was left for us (Marions27) as a gift by the eminent gnome himself in a special hiding place, after we had become the first non-pixies to visit certain caches at each end of a secret tunnel the Clan have constructed between England and Wales. The Clan have an arrangement with geocachers Kangoocamp in North Yorkshire and Tentbruiser in South Wales that in return for special food items they enjoy, they will transport TBs through this secret tunnel. TBs have to be dropped off in either Oystermouth TB tunnel cache in South Wales or Boulby Mine TB tunnel cache in North Yorkshire and the Clan will deliver them to the cache at the opposite end. We have been very fortunate to have visited both these caches and in recognition of our achievement as the first non-pixies to do so, we received some lovely gifts from the Clan, which included some delicious gnome made jam, a congratulatory card and some glass nuggets, as well as this fabulous TB. We feel very honoured to have been recognised in this way and will treasure our Noben Banxarn TB gift, which we plan to keep, so it can travel with us from cache to cache. We will of course be very proud to show it to all other interested geocachers so they can discover it.
