To visit the residents of Milford CT, where Charlie is fondly remembered. After that, he'd like to go far and wide before returning home to Lexington MA.
I'm launching this travel bug in memory of the ice cream man of my childhood - known all around Anchor Beach in Milford CT as "Charlie Baby". Obviously, we were all fond of him because of the frigid treats that he brought. But, he was a real character, and his evening visits were eagerly anticipated.
