Xisto (também conhecido como shale em inglês) é o nome genérico de vários tipos de rochas metamórficas facilmente identificaveis por serem fortemente laminadas. Em linguagem popular, em Portugal é também conhecida por "lousa" (e, por extensão, designa-se como "terra lousinha" aossolos com base xistosa).
Este Tb surge em homenagem às aldeias de Xisto, em particular ao Sobal de São Miguel, local de beleza impar, onde foi adquirido este exempla
