Cocho de cortiça - este objecto, conhecido por cocharro noutras localidades é produzido a partir das concavidades naturais da cortiça depois de extraída do sobreiro. Típico objecto utilitário do pastor alentejano, inicialmente utilizado como um recipiente para beber a água do cântaro, actualmente é um dos objectos artesanais que mais associamos ao património cultural alentejano.
Usado para beber água durante os trabalhos do campo, era comum encontrar-se nas fontes à disposição para beber água fresca, ou nas próprias casas alentejanas.

Cocho cork - this object, known for cocharro in other locations is produced from the natural hollows cork after extracted the cork. Typical utility subject by Alentejano shepherd herd, initially used as a container for drinking water from the pitcher, is currently one of the craft items that most associate with the cultural heritage of Alentejo.
Used to drink water during the field work, it was common to find the sources available to drink fresh water, or in their own Alentejo homes.

Alentejo = region of south Portugal
