Rock Slides: I’ve seen this type before. That made it an easy find
Needles Eye & No Surf: simple enough yet obscured. I felt a little conspicuous as a surfer came running down the road towards me. However, he did not pay me any attention.
Sunset Cliffs: out grabbing some caches along the coast. Spotted this one. Good camo.
Do you Love Geocaching?: now that’s a silly question! Of course I do. Quick little mystery and made the find.
Scripps Ranch Watering Hole: coords we off and I went looking for the item in the hint in the wrong direction. Decided to expand my search and went down the hill (don’t do that). After looking for quite a bit I gave up and went back up to the car. I took one last look around and saw something resembling the hint about 10 steps or so from the white fence. Nice camo.
Raymond Chandler House Q2SM: Thanks you for sharing the history of this house. I wonder what’s it’s like to like in such a historical building. Solved for the coords and got to GZ but I didn’t see the cache. I even almost touched it and did t see it. I heard a noise and looked up. When I looked back down, there it was.
Anniversary Series: Out for a morning hike and saw this puzzle. Didn’t take too long to solve it but when I got to GZ, I couldn’t find it. Then I did, a little further off trail that I was expecting. Dropped a bug.
Squeak squeak!: I had to go pick something up nearby so decided to see if there were any caches nearby. Yup! Easy find and grab. Left a penguin.
Nature’s Surprises-Charlotte: Came back to avenge my previous DNF but it almost didn’t happen. Thought I knew what I was looking for but to no avail. Reached out for a hint from the CO and at least got which side of the trail. Looked some more and still nothing. Was about to give up when I looked down and there it was. I swear I looked there before. As I was signing it I found another one about three feet away. Left both containers there so the CO can come back and retrieve one. Then I enjoyed the sunset.
No Surf View: Out here looking in vain for a place to hide my next cache. There is a tiny opening along Sunset Cliffs but no appropriate hiding spot for my container. Enjoyed the stroll along the coast anyway and picked up a few caches.
