To make it all the way back to the North Pole, via the Lincoln Tunnel, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest. Of course, any stops along the way are always appreciated. Elf would love to see pictures of his travels to share with Papa Elf too.
This is another in our song series. "Baby It's Cold Outside" is a tune written in the 1940's, originally as a Christmas song. It has been covered by dozens of artists since it was written, and gets playing time year round now. It is one of my favorite songs from the 2003 movie, Elf. Actress/singer Zooey Deschanel recorded the song with Leon Redbone for the film's soundtrack. In the movie itself, Zooey Deschanel unknowingly sings part of the song with Will Ferrell while she is showering and he is sitting on the bathroom counter.
