This virtual was at a veteran's memorial in Ardmore, OK, which we found while visiting a friend. I took pictures there, and at a memorial in nearby Marietta, in Love County, OK. I'm posting both sets of pictures in this log.

  • Kaboom up close at the Marietta veterans' memorial
  • Both together The pole was pretty much in the way for any decent shot.
  • Better view of the memorial Marietta, OK - county seat of Love County, OK - veteran's memorial in front of the courthouse.
  • Kaboom! at The Secret of Sherwood Forest This was an interesting virtual cache in Ardmore, OK.
  • Better shot of the memorial The memorial itself.
  • The warrior of Sherwood Forest I won't give away the name, but this memorial was for the OK oil workers who secretly went to England during WWII to drill for oil to provide fuel during the war. It was top secret at the time.
