To raise awareness about ovarian cancer
In loving memory of my sister-in-law, Pam Clark, I am releasing this travel bug attached to a silicone cause wrist band that is from the Fight Like a Girl campaign to increase awareness among women regarding ovarian cancer. Pam was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian cancer at the age of 39 with 3 small children, the youngest was just 16 months old. When Pam began to get ill her doctors wrote it off to just being a tired mother of 3 little kiddos, 16 months, 3 years and 5 years old. By the time doctors began to figure it out.....well she died 3 years later.
Catching up on logging all the trackables I have discovered over the holidays. Discovered this during the South Bay Happy Hour TB Swap! Happy Travels event (10/17/13). Thanks for sharing and happy geo-adventures to you in the New Year!
Taking the trackable down south!
