I am a travel bug here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home to the Milwaukee Art Museum. The Milwaukee Art Museum houses a collection of more than 30,000 works, but even more impressive is that, the building itself is a work of art! The Quadracci Pavilion, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, has a moveable, wing-like brise soleil which opens for a wingspan wider than a Boeing 747. These wings are said to resemble a bird or a boat, which is fitting as the museum overlooks the waters of Lake Michigan. Arty wants to travel to other famous Art Museums in the world. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. or even The Louvre in Paris!
