Spy plane has finally found a new home. Along the way, it traveled 9000 miles on a midwest tornado chasing trip (pictures to be posted later), was flown to Baltimore to be hidden, but no cache could be found because the person who took it had no GPS (but looked hard under remote direction anyway). Was flown back (but lost its wings in the process). It was replaced with another 737 model - same size, but with SW air markings - all we could find, unfortunately. Today it was driven up to the Mogollon Rim of AZ, but that cache was not found. On the way back it was FINALLY dropped off at the 188 Rest Stop cache - only about 50 miles (and 4 months) from when we picked it up.
It turns out that tornado chasing is just too unpredicatble to for geocaching - when we had time we didn't have internet connectivity to find the caches. The problem is never knowing where you will be within 200 miles! We will post another note with links to pictures of Spy Plane and its adventures on the trip. But not tonite.
