Honkbal is een sport, die vooral in Amerika en Japan razend populair is. Nederland speelt internationaal, vooral in Europa, een aardig woordje mee. Bekende intrnationale toernooien in Nederland zijn de "Haarlemse Honkbalweek" in de even jaren en het "World Port Tournament" in Rotterdan in de oneven jaren. Dit is de knuppel, waarmee gespeeld wordt.

Baseball is a sport, which is very popular, especially in America and Japan. The Netherlands plays internationally, especially in Europe, on a high level. Famous international tournaments in The Netherlands are the "Haarlem baseball week" in even-numbered years and the "World Port Tournament" in Rotterdam in the odd years. Baseball will be played with such a bat.
