This lonely piece of free-range grass-fed U.S.D.A. organic bacon's only goal is to have it's picture taken with other bacon or with what you are having for breakfast (not on the plate but next to it please) and then sent to the nearest geocache to travel on to the next person.
I am perfectly fine if there is some reason that you cant take a picture of it or do not feel comfortable with taking a picture, just place it in the nearest cache.
Everything is better with bacon! There's, bacon-pop, bacon flavored envelope glue, bacon flavored chapstick, Bacon mayonaise (Baconnaise), bacon scented soap, bacon air-freshener, and bacon breathmints! Okay all of those sound pretty disgusting, except the envelope glue (anything is better than plain envelope glue!), and believe it or not, all of the listed items actually exist! Just try and Google them!
No one really knows how old Bacon really is, the term bacon was coined during the medival times and meant any part of pork. The Romans were known to eat a type of bacon which was strips of meat boiled with figs. The common phrase, "Bringing home the bacon" was created when a 12th Century church in Dunmow offered a side of bacon (known as pork today) to any man who could swear before God and the congregation that he had not fought or quarreled with his wife for a year and a day. Who ever "brought home the bacon" was widely respected in his community.
