To make his way to the West coast and back home (http://coord.info/GC3RAG0) seeing everything nature has to see along the way. Famous nature places in the US would be great.
This is a very special, and very important travel bug! Attached to the travel bug tag is a Wolverine action figure that belonged to a very good friend of mine. His name was John and he passed away October 16th, 2008. John loved life and loved nature. He always appreciated it’s beauty. When John passed I was able to have one of his Wolverine action figures (he was very into comic books). While I appreciate it sitting on display in my home, I woke up one day with the fantastic idea of making it a travel bug! Because John left this world at only 27 years old, there is a lot he was unable to see. That’s where you come in! I would love to have John see all the beauty this country has to offer through his Wolverine action figure. So, with that in mind the mission for this travel bug is this: I would love for “Johnny’s Wolverine” to make it’s way to the west coast stopping at all the amazing places on the way. The famous ones would be awesome - like Mt Rushmore, The Grand Canyon etc. But all the lesser known little hidden treasures in between are great too!! PLEASE TAKE PICTURES!! It may be a long shot but after he make’s his way to the west coast, I would really like “Johnny’s Wolverine” to make his way back to the cache closest to my home (“You Tell Me...” located at N 42° 14.524 W 072° 52.288 in Huntington, MA 01050). If he makes his way home I plan on printing a book of his travels with all the photos and everything in it. It would be something I would treasure for a life time and LOVE to share with all his friends and family. The best place I can think of for “Johnny’s Wolverine” to start his new adventure is where my friend John ended his last. His most favourite place to visit in Western MA was a place called Bash Bish Falls. It is at this very place where his ashes were spread almost 4 years ago and he has rested since, so this is where “Johnny’s Wolverine” will begin - at the “Bash Bish Falls” Geocache located at N 42° 06.968 W 073° 29.613. Take good care of him, and hopefully he’ll find his way home.
