My mission is to travel the great wide world and see other wild animals.
Two hunters were going moose hunting and needed to be flown into the bush where they were going to hunt. When the pilot dropped them off he told them sternly, "I'll be back in one week and you can bring one moose. Not one each...ONE MOOSE between the two of you!" The two hunters agreed and went on their way. One week later, the two hunters are sitting waiting for the plane to come in and when it does, the pilot can't help but notice that there are two moose lying there waiting to be loaded. He said to the hunters, "What is wrong with you two? I TOLD YOU ONE MOOSE!" The pilot and the hunters argue for almost half an hour. The hunters inform him that they gave last years pilot a very large tip and he agreed...so the pilot finally gives up and agrees to take them and their TWO moose. They get all loaded and attempt to take off...they start to lift off but drop back down on the runway...they run out of runway and slam nose first into the bush!! When all the dust and debris settle, the pilot looks back at the two hunters and says, "See! I told you two that you could not bring two moose...we're just too heavy to take off. Now what do you two have to say for yourselves?!?!" The hunters look at each other, shake out the cobwebs, look out the windows...then they look back at each other with HUGE smiles on their faces. The pilot asks what they could possibly be SO happy about....They said, "That's AWESOME! We made it almost 500 yards farther than last year!!!"....
BUT SERIOUSLY......
We decided to take a driving vacation starting near Red Deer, Alberta and heading through places like, Fort Nelson, BC, Whitehorse and Dawson City, YT, and into Alaska, staying at Fairbanks and Anchorage before heading in a southerly direction down the coast. We will take a two and a half day ferry ride from Haines Alaska to Prince Rupert, BC and then head towards home again.
We are going to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature in the north west and we wanted to share this little guy that we found wandering around in the wild here.
