The GOAL of both Jack & Jill is to race to Turkey (but soak in numerous sites along the way) & have a photo taken in front of a famous Turkish building & make their way back to finish where they started in “The Travelling Cup” in Adelaide, South Australia where one of them will be officially crowned the inaugural winner of “Race 1 – Jack vs Jill”.
Timber06 and Irac- are workmates and friends. We both love travelling in the Aussie bush and sleeping under the stars in our swags. We also enjoy chatting over lunch about caching & what we both got up to over the weekend.
Timber06 & Irac- came up with a great idea of having a TB race over lunch earlier in 2012. Irac- kindly donated 2 racing keys to the cause & Timber06 released them on a holiday but it appears that 1 has gone missing. So, what Timber06 & Irac- decided to do was to start another TB race & place a cache closer to home where the race will start & over another lunch discussion decided that there will be many more TB races into the future.
“Jack vs Jill” is the FIRST race to officially start from “The Travelling Cup”, a cache placed close to Irac- & Timber06’s workplace.
Jo, one of Irac- & Timber06’s work friends also enjoys caching & bought Jack & Jill back from Turkey on a recent holiday.
