Die erfolgreichste Schweizer Kinderbuch-Figur heist Globi. Globi ist eine Art Papagei-Mensch mit blauem Körper, gelbem Schnabel, Baskenmütze und rot-schwarz karierter Hose. Globi wurde 1932 vom Zeichner Robert Lips und vom Texter Alfred Bruggmann erfunden. Bereits 1948 wurde das millionste Globi-Buch verkauft. Bis heute wurden 81 Bildbände veröffentlicht und über 9 Millionen Bücher verkauft.
The most famous hero of Swiss kid’s Books is called Globi. Globi is a kind of a parrot-man, who has a blue body, a yellow beak and red/black chequered trousers. He was created in 1932 by draughtsman Robert Lips and author Alfred Bruggmann. Already in 1948 one million books of Globi had been sold. Until now 81 books have been published and more than 9 million books have been sold.
