Kentucky is also known for automobile manufacturing, college basketball, and horse racing.  Today Kentucky is known as the “Bluegrass State.” Bluegrass is not really blue--it's green. In the spring, bluegrass produces bluish purple buds that when seen in large fields, give a blue cast to the grass.

Did you know that teacher Mary S. Wilson held the first observance of Mother's Day in Henderson, KY in 1887? It was made a national holiday in 1916.

    This was laying on the ground behind a strip mall far from any cache a d as we were walking about 100 feet from a cache which we didn't find, we saw this laying out in the middle of grass. Location approx Dania Florida Oakwood plaza. We are heading for a 20 day cruise in two days so will try to drop it off at another cache around here
